Hi,

We are trying to make some changes to our "Developer" and "Tester" roles.

Basically, we want the Developer role to have access to set ZDMJ to "Dev Successful" and nothing else.

We want the Tester role to have access to set ZDMJ to "QAS Successful" and nothing else.

Neither of them could do the task we wanted. So we did an SU53 and it brought up the following for BOTH:

Auth Field Activity: 01

Auth Field Auth Key: ZDMJ_99

Auth Field Object Category: COH

Auth Field Status Profile: ZDMJHEAD

As I mentioned above, it's the same error for both roles (even though they're performing a different action). We can fix the security up but that means Developer can set to "Dev Successful" AND "QAS Successful'. Same with the Tester role. How do we change it so that roles can only perform the specific action that we want them to? I'm sure this is achievable??

Hi,

check the statusprofile ZDMJHEAD in your customizing.

You can define an Authorization Code for each status.

I guess you use the same for "Dev Successful" and "QAS Successful" ?
