NWDS 7.3 - deployment - SDM Password popup

Hi

We are trying to deploy our applications from our local NWDS for EP 7.3 - but our NWDS 7.3 is prompting for SDM Password

If there is no SDM in EP 7.3 why it is asking to enter SDMAdmin user's password.

also,we are not able to change the user id as user name is grayedout.

Hi Kiran,

In NWDS 7.3, go to Window -> Preferences -> General -> Security -> Secure Storage -> Contents tab and delete the existing password. Also, make an entry of your deployment system in SAP AS JAVA.

Now check if you are still being prompted for SDM password. If so, upgrade NWDS to the latest SP and patch level and retry.

Solved myself. - the instance number given was wrong.. basis updated us the number and we added it to NWDS settings under SAP AS area. Resolved the issue.
