Is it possible when logging into the SAP WebGUI for HTML to have them get logged out of the SAP GUI that users run from their desktop?
Similar to what happens when you try to open up two SAP GUI's it tells you that you've already logged in and to either use that current open session or close it and start this new session.
Is this anything related to SSO? Because I have that activated but on the box it says "SSO logon not possible; logon tickets not activated on the server"

Hello Vi,
This is not possible with WEBGUI
ITS uses the DIAG protocol not only for the webgui service (which can
be considered equivalent to the SAPGUI) but also for IACs (Internet
Application Components, i.e. special web transactions) - since it is
possible that several IACs are displayed in parallel, the system would
then wrongly detect "multiple dialog sessions".
For Workplace / Portal scenarios:
multiple logons are permitted since multiple MiniApps / iViews might be
lauched - this needs to be tolerated since that's one of the key
functions of a Workplace / Portal ...

Oisin
