Which Processors are Best for SAP IDES installation

Hi

iam planning to buy a Sony Vaio laptop with intel processor i3,i5,i7 (anyone).is this i3,i5,i7 Processors are supoort for SAP IDES Installation?

some guys told me if the processors(i3,i5,i7) are release in 2010 it cant support SAP IDES Installation.

what about 2011 release Processors is it support or Not support?

Please Let me know the Which is correct Laptop For SAP Installation

Laptops are generally not suited for a SAP installation.

Hi,

You can go with intel xeon processors or AMD processors. They are certified for SAP installations.

A SAP system application runs on any processor where Windows Server runs.

The database runs on any processor where the database is certified on.

The performance is mostly dependent on I/O and RAM, not the processor specification.

Please read the other thread completely () where you posted the same question. There is no single answer for your question.

Buy any laptop which has a 64-bit processor and thereby supports visualization.
