Adobe flex component data refresh issue

Hello Experts,

We have a web dynpro component embedded with a Flex component ( a standard web dynpro infact).

We needed to enhance the web dynpro and add a new button to the view (this view has the flex component view embedded).

On click of the button, a pop-up would be raised and depending on the action/data performed/entered, we had to change certain context nodes.

these context nodes were bound to the flex compoent's properties.

But the changes to the context nodes are not creating any changes in the flex compoent.

We even created a normal web dynpro element ( a textview) and bound it to the same context node and we could see the updated context data in the text view.

But this updated context data is not reflected in the flex component.

Is there anything we are doing wrong?

The values of the flex compoent remain unchanged from what it had the first time page loaded.

Is this issues similar to the one in below link?

Please help us out.

You really haven't told us anything about the Flex Component or how it is integrated. Are you even using FlashIslands? Without some details, I don't see how anyone could even guess at the source of your problem.
