Plant determination error

Hello Everyone,

Iam facing one strange issue, while creating sale order wen i enter the material, the plant is not determining automatically eventhough it is maintained in the material master. Could anyone help on this issue.

Check if there is a custom coding meddling with plant determination in user exit routine userexit_source_determination in SE38 include MV45AFZB

Check for different combination like different customer with different material from same plant. Still if the problem exists, then check whether any exit is applied.

Hi Ravi,

Was that plant maintained in material master sales org ;1 tab check whether you maintained Delivering Plant or not for the combination of sales org and distribution channel ,and check is the same sales org and distribution channel is coming in to your sale order or not.

Yes, plant is maintianed in the material master under Sales: Sales Org. Data 1 and same sales org using for order creation.

Then check your enterprise structure whether the plant is assigned to your sales org and distribution channel or not.

Yes, plant has already been assigned to sales org and distribution channel.

Hi Ravi,

Have you maintained the plant in Customer Master Data in XD01.

Plant Determination based on 3 factors

--First the system looks in Customer Material Info Record for Delivery Plant-VD51

--Second it will check in CMR-XD01

--Third it will check in Material Master Record-MM01
