BOM Explosion number in Sales Order

Hello,

We would like to manually enter the BOM explosion number in the Sales Order Item, which will be provided by the customer.

Also we are not using MTO or Order BOM in our system currently. It is just that in our Sales Order Item, we wish to maintain the BOM explosion number manually.

Please advice on the implication and where should we configure.

Hi

If your requirement is to just capture the customer BOM number somewhere in the sales order item level,

then you can use the "Customer Material Number" field in the item detail screen, provided it is not being used.
