Error in phase MAIN_SHDRUN/ACT_UPG in BI upgrade.

Hi,

Right now I'm upgrading the system from Netweaver 7.0 EHP2 to Netweaver 7.3 and I'm in the phase

PREP_EXTENSION/SUBMOD_EXTENSION_NEW/ADDON_QCALC! with the component SAP_BS_FND and I download the SAP_BS_FND 730 but is not working... I see in some notes that for Netweaver 7.3 that's the release that I have to

apply for that component but the upgrade don't accept it...

But why I have to apply the addon 701 if the system have the 702 release for that component...?

Hi,

Your system netweaver component version is 702 while ERP components (SEM-BW and FINBASIS) are on 600 release which is not supported. If netweaver is on 702 release then corresponding release for ERP component is 605.

Also, as per the note which I mentioned earlier, it states as below:

Required SAP and add-on releases prior to the upgrade:

SAP_BASIS 701 as part of EHP4 of SAP ERP 6.0 with

SEM-BW 604

FINBASIS 604

SAP_BS_FND 701

But in your case SEM-BW and FINBASIS are on 600 release and SAP_BS_FND is on 702 release. It looks like you are not on supported combination of add-on's. Please check.

`Hmm.. so maybe if I apply first the release 605 for SEM and FINBASIS maybe I will not receive that error... What do you think?

Hi,

SAP_BS_FND is already on 702, but it should be on 701 release.

I have not tried your scenario but may be raising an OSS with SAP will help.

Hi,

You might need to upload ACP in order to upgrade SAP_BS_FND to Netweaver 7.3 release. Please refer to SAP note 1539356.

Please download SAP_BS_FND 701 from SAP service marketplace.

Extract the file and place it into /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in

In the upgrade phase you will be required to search the /EPS/in again to ensure that all the required patches are in the queue.

As per the below log you need to download the SAP_BS_FND" rel."701 add-on.

And also please check the dependency and requirement set.
