Hi,

You have installed ECC system then it means you already have database instance.

As far as Dialog instance installation is concerned, it depends upon your requirement. If load on the system will be high then you can add one dialog instance otherwise its not necessary.

Thanks

If you have installed the system then it means you have installed database instance as well.

Very basic question.

Thanks

Hi,

If you have selected Central system as a option in SAPinst, you have installed both Database and CI.

Now to login using sapgui you will need to feed following information

Application server: <ip address of SAP server>

Instnace no:

SID: <System id used for installation>

Hello,

You must go through the installation guide, for the post installation steps. Normally the user for sapgui would be SAP* or DDIC and password should be the master password which you had set in the beginning of the installation. Client should be 000.

But my reply or this information is not just enough, you 'must' go through the installation guide.

Thanks

Hi Manthana,

After SAP installation you need to perform the post installation steps.

In order to perform the post installation steps logon to 000 client user ( DDIC or SAP*) with the master password which you have given while performing the installation.

For post installation steps please refer the installation guide.

I hope It will help you.
