During R3/4.7 installation central instance has been installed successfully. but as the last stage of database instance installation iam getting this error( starting rfc jobs processing phase)

FRF -00007 unable to open RFC connection : FRF-000063 RFC log on failed

connect to sap gateway failed connect_PM GWHOST=gtcdev1,GWSERV=sapgw00, ASHOST=gtcdev1, SYSNR=00

LOCATION cpic(TCP/IP) on local host

error partner not reached ( host gtcdev1, service 3300)

FRF:00063 RFC log on failed with message: programe SAPMSSY1

by listener is proper start

sap is also start

database is also in mount condition

but iam able to log on through GUI . my entry is hosts and service file is proper, can anybody tel me how to come up with this problem.

Hello,

It could be kernel problem. SAPINST could not able to communicate SAP system. Please install the latest kernel of R/3 4.7 and repeat the phase.

i have done restart and stop process several time , but the problem still persist.

Could you please try to telnet on host gtcdev1, service 3300 ?

Hi,

Issue could be due to basic communication ports might have not opened bi-directionally between source and target server. Please enable bi-directional communication of below mentioned communication ports especially the gateway port.

Dispatcher Port - 32XX

Gateway Port - 33XX

Message Server Port - 36XX

Note XX: Instance number
