CRM 701 EHP2 in HA

Dear all,

We are installing CRM 701 EHP2 in HA. We have installed the ASCS Instance, Database instance, Enqueue replication server on CI and then on DB and now we are trying to install central instance on the CI but it is giving us the below mentioned error when we provide the path of the SLC (kernel)

Caught ESAPinstException in module call. 
There exists no dialog element with name instanceNumber and also 
no mapping for that name in the current keydb client. 
Please inform the developer about the bug

Any suggestions?

My mistake. There was no need to install Enqueue replication server both on CI and DB.

Removed that.

Also, downloaded the entire bunch of Kernel DVD from SMP and extracted the zipped (split) on AIX.

Restarted with the next step and everything went fine

Looks like some bug with sapinst. Could you please paste complete logs ?

Thanks for the instant reply

I am installing this on AIX / DB2 and over here I dont have those options of installing 1st or 2nd MSCS Nodes.

MSCS Nodes are in the case of Windows

Hi,

Did you install "First MSCS node" and Adddtional MSCS node in CI and DB servers before installaling CI.

Here is the sequence

ASCS

First MSCS Node (First Node)

Database Instance

Addtioanl MSCS node (second node)

Enqeue Replication Server

Central Instance

Dialog Instance
