SAP MII 12.2 Installed on NW 7.3 SP5

Hello All,

I just finished the installation of MII 12.2 SP02 patch 8 on Linux/Oracle 12.2 on NW Java 7.3.

Here is the process I used.

1. Install NW 7.3 App server java

2. Upgrade to SP5 via JSPM

3. Deploy the four SCA from DVD (SAP MII 12.2 Java Components Number 51037551)

Filenames: MIIADMIN00_0.SCA, MIIBUILDT00_0.SCA, XMII00_0.SCA & XMIIMIGRATION00_0.SCA.

4. Upgrade to SP02 for the above components.

My question is did I have to Install NW CE EHP1 SP05 as well?

I am able to launch the MII application via /XMII/Menu.jsp. But since I have never used MII I cannot say if there would be some functionality not available without NW CE.

Hello Sheldon, I've seen that you've been pending for an answer for a while.

The thing is that you do not need to install 7.1 EHP1 with 7.3. It's either one or the other.

7.3 is an evolution of 7.1 EHP1 and is the new platform on which to deploy MII while 7.1 EHP1 has been around now for a few years.
