Adding new column in contract document tab

Hi All,

In master agreement we have contract documents tab. where uploaded documents are shown in tabular format.

How to add a new column in that table in Contract documents tab?

Hi,

You can create extensions to Contract document and can show in the contract documet detail page. Not sure if there is a way to customize a table display. I guess not..

Can't we change the Table display in CLM because we have one more similar requirement where we need to change the collaborators table display in Header tab?

AFAIK extending table diplay with additional column is not supported. Request other members to chime in..

Hi

I think by table you are refer to collection CONTRACT_DOCUMENTS. It is possible to hide columns/ fields in a standard collection or change lable on them through page customizations however it is not possible to add a new column altogether.

Usually in case of such requirements the standard collection is hidden altogether and a new custom one is created. I would not suggest this approach for CONTRACT_DOCUMENTS collection but for Ccollaborators it could be looked into.

means is it possible to copy standard collection and then create new collection and display it in Master Agreements?

Hi Prabhat

It is not possible to copy standard collection. You have to start from scratch and create a new extended collection with new fields definitions. This would not be quite as same as standard collection.Plz evaluate the pros and cons of this approach first in your development system and see which approach is best suited to business requirement.

Also if you can throw some light on the exact requirement may be experts on forum could suggest you a better solution.

Here requirement is to add one extra column where user will be entering values from drop down box for language dependency.

In extended collection can we use standard schema for collaborator or we will need to use extended schema for whole collection?
