Hi Were you able to connect to the Web Service from the SUP 2.1 Because I understand the Link provided by Tahir is for Production env where you need to install the Relay Server. If you are using the Development env u need to follow the steps in http://infocenter.sybase.com/help/index.jsp?topic=/com.sybase.infocenter.pubs.docset-SUP-2.0.0/doc/h...
Please let me know if you were able to connect to the Webservice from 2.1 when you followed those steps...

Hi Dixit,
I am trying to develop a OData Hybrid App via SUP2.2 . Also i am adding phonegap as well. I will use MAC to add this phonegap framework. I have OData link now, and i can see in the infocenter.sybase.com suggesting to do Proxy Settings. Here why to do proxy setting ? . Please suggest me the solution for this.
Thanks in advance,
Hemagiri Seerapu
Hi Hemagiri,
If your trying to access a webservice which is in the internet then you need to set the proxy in the
user options of SCC.
You can refer the following link for more information:

Thank you for your response Shivakishore.
I have done Proxy settings in Sybase Control Center (SCC) for the following OData source:
http://sapiecci.woolworths.com.au:8061/sap/opu/odata/sap/ZMAS_STORE_DETAILS/zmas_store_detailsCollec... eq '1106'
SUPServer has been installed in one machine ( windows machine) and i have a VPN access to that machine from MacBook Pro ( to connect to SUPServer) .
The above OData source has been developed in one other server ( sapiecci -- system name, woolworths.com.au-- domain name, 8061 - port number)
So,now i had successfully connected to SUPServer from MAC Pro. Now i need to access the OData source from MAC Pro via SUP2.2. Already, i had done proxy settings for OData source in SUP ( using SCC).But still i am not able to get an access to OData source, as well as not able to retrieve data from MAC (simulator) .
Can you please give me some suggestions on this ? Do i need to do anymore while doing host entry in Sybase Control Center.
Thanks in Advance,
Hemagiri Seerapu
Can you please give some suggestions on this ?
Hi Hemagiri,
Can you please check whether your able to hit the Odata server from the system which has SUP server installed in it. You can check the same by accessing the OData source url from the browser.
If it is not accessible Check the network settings in both odata server and SUP.
thanks & regards,
Shivakishore
Hi Shivakishore,
yes, i am able to hit the OData server from the system where SUP2.2 has been installed. Also , i am able to access the Url from browser as well. But, SUP2.2 has installed in the system which is in one domain, and my MAC is in INDIA domain. Here, both are cross domains to each other. But, i have VPN access to connect the SUP2.2 Server from MAC ( which is in INDIA domain). I have done proxy settings as well in Sybase Control Center. But, still i am not getting any response while trying to access the OData service from simulator ( in MAC) and data is also not reaching the device .. Do, i need to do anything else to get an access to OData service in this case? ..
Can you please suggest the brief solution on this ?
Thanks,
Hemagiri S
Hi,
Be able to open SUP server to internet you should use Relay server. Check the following link [Relay server|http://infocenter.sybase.com/help/index.jsp?topic=/com.sybase.infocenter.dc01092.0200/doc/html/ldi1233015154170.html]
