How to delete PI documents when LINV quant and LQUA quant is different?

Hello,

I want to delete WMS physical inventory record which was created by cycle counting by quant method. It is partially counted and inactive status. I can not activate the PI document.

When I use LI02N to delete the PI record, I am getting below update terminated error

Error while reading quant 0000098977 , Message no. L4 518.

I checked the LINV and LQUA. I found that, the quant from LINV is not availble in the system in LQUA because it was deleted.

How Can I delete the PI document? Corresponding bins in the PI documents are in yellow Inactive status. I have many such PI document having such discrepancies.

Hi Milind,

I had the same problem long time ago, my suggestion is:

1) manually create directly into table LQUA the missing quant

2) immediately after, delete the inventory document

3) once done get again into LQUA and remove manually the quant record you created at step 1 to avoid inconsistencies

If you're not familiar with direct manual table update search in the forum, basically you'll have to start debug while displaying a record of LQUA with SE11 (dirty trick, not Sap recommended, but always good to get rid of problems).
