Internal note, vendor text

Hi,

In SRM 5.0, the internal note, vendor text are not displayed in the shopping cart item. Upon research, i found few new terms text types & text schema. Can anyone let me know how to handle this or has anyone worked on this before? If yes, please send me related documents

You mean the text entered in the Internal note and Vendor text is not visisble?

Did you check in BBP_PD for that SC if the Long Texts have been displayed?

Hi Jagdish,

No, i am unable to enter internal note and vendor texts. No text box to enter internal note/vendor text. But there is a message displayed in the screen "No text type available; maintain customizing".

That means you are using SRM5.0 (Server 5.5).

Then you need to maintain settings for Text types and schema.

SPRO --> SRM Server --> Cross-Application basic settings --> Text schema.

Then in Transaction type definition assign that text schema.

can you please help me on how to add new text to the shopping cart documents and attachments tab along with vendor text and internal note.

We are using SRM4.0 and EBP5.0
