I have to read/write flat files from a file server. Is there any way out apart from using FTP actions

yes with SMB (eg:
fileserverabc\abc\x.txt) .

if you use path in link editor you must use double

\\

.

for example:

\\\\host\\directory\\file

Thanks Cemil. I need to access flat files(located on a file server) through MII and write on them, we do not have FTP access to this server. Can you help on this. Does MII have capability to do this without FTP
