Java JDK Version / SAP Netweaver 7.3

Hi all,

I need to install SAP Netweaver 7.3 in Windows 2008 64-Bit, i want to know which Java JDK Version has to be installed.

Thanks for your valuable reply, sorry for troubling you we can't still find out the exact JDK version, because when i made a search in Oracle site, there i can able to view JAVA EE & JAVA SE , and also updates as 29... etc, could you please provide me the exact link to download the JAVA JDK Version to install SAP Netweaver 7.3 it will more helpful.

Why you are looking for JDK when SAP JVM is recommended by SAP?

If it is not accessible, please follow the below steps.

1. Go to http://service.sap.com/patches

2. Choose "Search for Support Packages and Patches"

3. Enter Search Term "SAP JVM 6*"

We need a Java JDK Version to install the SAP Netweaver 7.3.Kindly provide us the JDK Version which is stable for SAP Netweaver 7.3 - Windows server 2008 64-bit.

Hi Gopi,

It is strongly recommended to use SAP JVM 6.1 for SAP NW7.3 installation. You can also use JDK 6 for SAP NW7.3.
