Hi Thomas,

"5W707" message usually occurs if you are trying to create a position under a position:

The Org. Management never allows to create positions under positions.

It is only possible to create positions under Org. Units because this is the standard behaviour.

In table T777E (SM 30) you can find all relationships which are allowed in the Org. Management between objects.

Have you HR replication active in your system?

Kind Regards,

Edel.

Hi Edel,

Sorry, that was a misunderstanding from my side: I'm talking about the root - org unit. And I think it is standard behaviour that I can't copy this (as only one root unit can exist...).

Could you please tell me how I can check if HR replication is actif or not?

Thanks,

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

You ca check FM HR_ALEOX_GET_SETTINGS.

Run it with no inputs (se37).

If value EMPLOYEE_VIA_ALE returns with no X then you are not using HR integration.

  • check HR active

CALL FUNCTION 'HR_ALEOX_GET_SETTINGS'

IMPORTING

employee_via_ale = lv_hr_active.

CHECK NOT lv_hr_active IS INITIAL.

Hope this helps you.

Kind Regards,

Edel.

Edel,

The Attribute 'EMPLOYEE_VIA_ALE' is empty (so HR integration does not exists). Is there an other possibility to copy the addresses (we have about 200 delivery addresses which have to be transferred to a new company...)?

Hi Thomas,

Yes it is possible to copy the FULL structure.

There are 2 ways of copying in transaction PPOMA_BBP, choose the ORG unit to be copied.

1. Use the menu option in the toolbar.

2. Right click on the node to copy.

If setting OADBP is set, the address of the business partner stored

there will be used to generate the business partner for org. units

without infotype 1028 Addresses (the one that is displayed in PPOMA_BBP)

Kind Regards,

Edel.

Dear Edel,

If i select the root of my structure and select copy, the following error message appears:

Before you select a function, select suitable entries in the structure.

Message no. 5W707

Could you please explain me more detailed how I can copy the full structure (without copying one unit after the other)?

Thank you.

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

If the organisational structure is created manually, then you must maintain the addresses manually too, using BP.

If it is copied, then the address data will be automatically passed to the new structure.

Edel.

Dear Edel,

Thank you for your reply.

How is it possible to copy the source of a structure (PPOMA)?

Is there a programme for copy adresses or a table we can use?

Thanks,

Thomas
