STMS configuration - TMSADM - Password logon no longer possible

Former Member

Dear friends,

I had a refresh done and TMS configuration is going wild.

I have no other idea what can I do, please help!!

First if I login to the Domain Controller: i see the warning: The TMS configuration is inconsistent

If I go to system overview and from menu I generate new RFC destinations, it says " RFC destinations generated " .

If I check the TMSADM connections in sm59 ( ABAP connections ) there is no problem with the tests.

The same with TMSADM user, if I try to reset it from Extras - Reser TMSADM user ...

I even did the note " 1414256 -> Chaninging TMSADM password is too complex " that is running program TMS_UPDATE_PWD_OF_TMSADM and resets user in all the systems.

But I still have problems,

ERROR:

Command: TMS_CI_CHANGE_CONFIGURATION

Service: Communication Interface

Function: TMS_CI_CHECK_ACCESSTOKEN

Message: RFC_COMMUNICATION_FAILURE

RFC communications error with system/destination

TMSADM_DCC.DOMAIN_DSM

Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts

Any idea or suggestion is very welcomed.

Thanks

Hi,

As per the logs your TMSADM user seems to be locked. Best option is to delete the TMS configuration and re-configure the same.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

How can I delete my TMS configuration ?

Should I do it from the domain controller ? and delete it for all the systems ?

Never done that before.

And after, how can I add back all the system in the way it was before ?

Thank you

Hi,

You can delete from the affected system itself.

I have the same problem on all the systems. I do not know what is the relation between them and my refresh, but It is every where on my landscape.

Hi,

Post refresh you will need to re-configure STMS. So in your case you will need to configure TMS in all the systems.

Hi Jordy,

Please check the TMSADM user id in 000 client of your all backend system and the domain controller if it locks please unlock and then Distribute the configuration in the domain controller in Client 000.

Hope it will help you.

Thanks

Gaurav
