LMTOOL patch error: SDA to be deployed

Hi All,

During applying patches of LM TOOL through JSPM we are getting error as follows:

It is saying that SDA to be deployed. But I dont know how to do that. I got tc_lcmdeployer.sda file at given location.

th reason why the deployment fails is:

Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sap/tc/ts/is/spi/ConnectEvent at java.lang.Class.getDeclaredMethods0(Native Method) at java.lang.Class.privateGetDeclaredMethods(Class.java:1655) at java.lang.Class.getMethod0(Class.java:1901) at

The NoClassDefFoundError is because the class was not loaded due to the current J2EE Engine's start mode

could be SAFE. So please firstly change it to normal -> restart the server -> do the deployment of using SDM

The detailed steps are:

1. Config Tool -> File -> Safe Mode -> set 'Safe Mode Enabled' to NO

for all instances -> OK -> File -> Apply

2. Restart the J2EE Engine.

3. After the J2ee engine starts, launch SDM remotegui and do the deployment there. Deploy this with the SDM application-please select "update any version". This will ensure that all of the SDA's inside the SCA's are deployed/redeployed. Please use SDM directly and specify the option "Update SCAs/SDAs that have any version". That way we can be sure that the deployments are consistent.

Hi,

As mentioned in the note, when you will log in to SDM then you can find out this component in the installed component list. And select it and undeploy.

Hi Ishan,

Hope your are doing good.

As I have faced the same error before,

In my case the Component LMTOOLS has not been completely downloaded so i got the error,

I think it's same in your scenario also.

Please check the size of your Downloaded Files,because you always have to crosscheck the files after downloading.

Hi,

I am pasting last part of log file sdmlog<date> here as file is too big. And Note you mentioned says undeploy that component using SDM. How to do that? I don't know. please help.
