Hello,
I try to implement a new solution for 3 SAP systems. I know that:
- I want a ECC6 ABAP (all modules)
. 300 users, system avaliable 24H day
- I want a BI 7
. 150 users, system avalaible 24H day
- I want a XI
. To connect partners (15) to ECC, 20 users
Basead of SAP methods (T-Shirt, formulas, etc...) how i know the correct sizing (CPU, memory and disk) for each SAP system?
Best regards
Hi,
A T-shirt sizing is not the best. For an SAP One in One solution that includes ERP, BI, CRM, and SRM for 201-500 users would be 700GB for Prod, 700GB for QA, and 500GB for DEV, 8 newer CPU and 24GB RAM. Raid 10 for Prod and QA, and raid 5 for DEV.
Best to have business do the service.sap.com/quicksizer and send the results to your hardware partners. EMC does a storage sizing or you can use a Vblock to get Cisco servers and EMC storage on a certified platform. Good Luck
