Deepak, it is OK to post such threads in T&P, that's what is was meant for in the first place. It is now also used for moving basic and "did not search" etc. posts there to keep them points-free but still enable the poster to receive an answer.

Agreed, this can be confusing, so we hope that after the upcoming forum migration there will be a better solution with separate spaces.

I regularly remove all points assigned to such test threads.
