Change of Product Catagory for MDM catalog items

Hi All,

Customer is using SRM 7.0 Self-Service procurement with MDM catalog..

When we added few items from MDM catalog, the Product category of the items are getting changed while it is pulling to Shopping cart. We have checked the MDM Data Manager that product groups are loaded properly with MDM.

Example:-

We try to add item with Product Group as u201CCleaningu201D from MDM catalog, When we check out from MDM, this item is getting added to shopping cart as another Product Group u201COffice Suppliesu201D.

Could you please help me on this what may be issue here?

Hi Raj,

You can use the KBA article [here |https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1577768]to debug this issue yourself and identify why the Produt Category is changed, if I had to guess, there is some error for it in et_messages which is causing the default to be used. The KBA references a Wiki article also to assist with the debugging if required.
