Deleting RFC Trace

Hi experts,

does anyone know, how I can delete RFC-Trace files (dev_rfc...) particulary?

I don't like to delete the whole trace like with TA RSRFCTRC.

And also I don't would like to delete them via OS.

Is there no function like ST11 for workproces-logs (they can be deleted from ST11, dev_rfcs not)?

Thx in advance for any tip.

I think there is no possibility to delete them particulary.

(only option is via OS)

Have you looked at SM59, RFC -> Delete Trace.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

thx for the fast answers.

However, this is the same like Ta RSRFCTRC.

So I only can delete all rfc trace files.

Isn't there a possibility to delete the files singular?

thx

The only other way I know is from OS.

Thanks,

Not using standard tools, but you can get an abaper to write a simple program to achieve this...

I wonder why you want to reset a particular trace only?

I think, when I write an report, this also has to use the os-command.

I would like to delete an rfc.trc file which has been updated last one year ago.

Thx

certainly... anything that deletes or modifies a file based outside the DB (at filesystem level) will use OS commands.

Thats logical, but I prefer an SAP-Standard, which (for example) stops writing into file and starts it again.

And I don't like to delete them hard.

But if there is no possibility, SM59 is also acceptable.

Thx again

simply go to SM59 -> RFC -> Delete trace .... You should have tried that, huh?
