Merge Data from SAP BI and Text from ECC using BOBJ Tools for Reporting

We have BOBJ 4.0 and i have a requirement to show 2000 CHAR text which is maintained in ECC a Report. I want to merge the data from SAP BI and Text from ECC Tables at the BOBJ Front end and create a report on top of it.

Is there any way we can bring data from SAP BI and the corresponding text 2000 char from ECC and merge those data in one of the BOBJ tools to show them together in a Report.

I need any suggestion you guys have on how to do this.

I would strongly recommend that you register for the ramp up of Feature Pack 03 (starts end Q1 2012) and evaluate the ERP drivers which can be multisourced with relational BW SQL federated universe.

Hi Anand,

We could use multisource reporting feature available in 4.x version and there are many ways in which this could be achieved. If it is possible to get the ECC report contents in an excel sheet then we could create a multi source unx.

We can even consume this excel and unx in WebI.
