Hi,

I am aware that I will need to deploy UCES component on J2EE engine. But my query is if it is needed to activate UCES component in IS-U system as well. If yes can anybody please guide?

Thanks.

Hi Ravi1Pawar,

If you deploy the UCES component in Java server, you can access this url > http://<server>:<port>/bdisu/admin/xcm/init.do

There you have to do the settings for

> Srver you need to connect(CRM/ISU)

>Type of application (FICA/FIAR)

>The UME data source (JAVA/ABAP/LDAP)

>The GUI tabs.(Here you can decise which all tabs you are going to show for customer.)

Then only you are able to view the application using your login.

Still you will get a common error screen. You have to map your user with some BP/CA.

After completing this much, you will get something in your login.

If the contents under the tabs are showing error screen,

You have to understand that your ISU systems FICA configuration is not proper.Because your UCES application is displaying things with respect to that settings only.

Still if you have any doubts, let me know.

Regards,

Ram

In IS-U backend, you have to customize a few things, but you don't need to install further addons.
