Extract data pertaining to one company

Hi,

We have a SAP instance with data of two companies AB10 and AB11.

Now we are planning to split the data and put it in two different physical servers.

Can you please let me know how to extract the entire data pertaining to one company alone.

I think you will need to use TDMS to split the data...

Hi,

Just to add what Juan has mentioned, TDMS is not for building production systems. You can used this in building your test system.

If it is Production system where you want split, then either you can make a copy of one production system to other system and do the archiving of data related to one company code then later on delete this data from database so that only one company code data will remain in database. Or other approach is you can contact SAP, SAP has internal expertise in splitting of such systems.
