Dear All,
I am looking for scenerio's where MDM can be integrated with Salesforce CRM,Customer master data is created/managed through Salesforce UI.
Please suggest if this integration is possible through PI or is there any other way it can be done.
Regards,
Harmony
Hi Harmony,
Yes you can do this using webservices and this requires coding too.
Please go through very informative blog:

Hello Harmony,
MDM understand only two languages XML and delimited text.
if salesforce is able to provide any of the above, yes we can integrate salesforce and MDM.

Abhishek

Hi,
A simple way is to create tab delimited Text files/XML from SAP MDM and import into Salesforce.
Salesforce should also be able to generate .xml or text files which can be imported into SAP MDM.
This scenario does not require PI but can use MDM Syndication/Import server.
MDM webservices for huge data is a bit of challenge, as per my experience.
Thanks,
Shambhu.

Hi,
I too have a similar requirement.
Other articles here talked about webservices which comes into picture only after data entered into PI.
But we are more concerned about a way to trigger PI automatically whenever there's customer data change in salesforce system.
Is it possible this way apart from the mentioned .txt or .xml files import/export ?
