I need a JDK for Windows 64bit x86, and hope to get it from this site. However, the ID and password provided in the OSS Note does not work. The site responds with:

"Sorry, your username and password are incorrect. Please try again."

Can anyone provide a valid ID and Password?

Hi

We want to download the JDK 1.4_34 for Win2008 64-bit X86. The password provided in note 716604 is not working. Is there any alternate link?

Regards

The credentials are strictly confidential.

Oracle after acquiring SUN micro systems, they made the Java s/w available only for partners.

SAP is a partner for SUN and so to oracle; regarding JAVA.

therefore as SAP customer we need to login with SAP partner ID.

The user name and password will be updated frequently in the above mentioned SAP note.

Please log in to SAP market place and go through the SAP note for user and password.

kind regards,

Yes!

password is not working. (Just a few mins back i have checked it for confirmation)

for some reason it might get blocked or some technical reason.

if you have a valid s-user ID and password; please raise a service message to SAP market place.

Password is case sensitive.

please copy the user name and password directly from the s-note and paste in the webpage to proceed for log in.

Do try after some time.

Kind regards,

Harika

Thanks for putting in the OSS message. Please reply if SAP fixes the ID/PW for the download site.

As a work around, I'm going to try the new SAPJVM 4. Has anyone tried this when the install manual specifically calls for 1.4.2?

FYI ... the ID and Password in note 716604 is now working.

Hi,

I have a CRM JAVA system based on Netweaver 7.0 using SAP JVM 1.4.

I have installed it using an old obsolete Sun JDK 1.4.2 and then switched successfully to the up to date SAP JVM 1.4.

No more problem to download a current SUN JDL 1.4.2 !

Olivier

Yes. But you probably used the Switch Tool.

The downloaded SUN/Oracle 1.4.2 is a simple installation .exe. I didn't see an install executable in the SAP version. Does it currently Require the switch tool.

My problem is that I'm trying to install Solution Manager, but the switch tool required approval to download ... which requires Solution Manager. So I couldn't download until I install SM, but I can't install SM until I download.

All is resolved now with the PW/ID working again to the SUN/Oracle download site for 1.4.2.

Heads up:

The ID and Password mentioned in https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/716604 occassionally get broken / locked / changed. I had quick success in getting it reset, by creating a message via http://service.sap.com/message under component BC-OP-SUN-JSE and asking for it to be reset.
