How to check the mapping of GL accounts that are extracted from ERP to BI

Hello All,

I am currently working on determining how the data is being extracted from an ERP system and sent to BI. From t-code RSO2, I found that the DataSource is using a Function Module to extract the data. But I want to know how the mapping of the accounts is being done from the source to the target systems. Any help on this shall be greatly appreciated.

Hi Arpita

Im not sure wath do you need.

Can you tell us of wich datasource we are talking about ?

Did you saw the datasource on bw ?

For example if you go to trx rsa1, on left side choose Datasources,

search yours, and make a double click.

Then on right side you can choose the option Fields and ther you can see on wich field the accounts go. (for example the GL_ACCOUNT)

If you need to know how the function module works maybe you have to talk with an abap programmer about it.

Thanks a lot for your valuable inputs.

I am trying to figure out how the data for the General Ledger account is being passed from the FM to the Extractor. i am currently checking the Extractor 3FI_SL_SC_SI in my ERP system. I tried debugging the Extractor to find where the data is being populated but could not find anything useful.
