Dear gurus,
I'm having doubt about the enqueue wp like this:
When SAP environment is running normally, that is, node 1 (CIDBASCS) and node 2 (apps) are up and running, enqueue WP is set in CI (one enqueue WP), while enqueue WP in node 2 is 0.
When Node 1 down, only DB package move to node 2.
What I confuse is, if node 2 (apps) doesn't have enqueue WP set in the first place, how will the enqueue be handled then if I start SAP on node 2?
As far as I know, the CI is not configured to be a moveable package (static).
Is enqueue WP is not needed if you've already running ASCS?
Thanks for help.
Regards,
In HA, you use standalone enqueue + ERS replication for failover scenario. So, forget about enqueue wp.
Those CI and other dialog instance will behave like enqueue client, and should have setting:
enque/process_location = REMOTESA
enque/serverhost = <host name of the enqueue server>
enque/serverinst = <instance number of the enqueue server>

Hi,
Enqueue server runs in ASCS instance. So, if your node1 will be down then ASCS will be on node 2 where Enqueue service will be running.
Thanks
