Get agents gives "unauthorized error" in system prep

In solman 7.1 in system prep, in connect diagnostics agents, when I do a "get agents" I get the following error?

SOAP:1,007 SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 401 : Unauthorized")

Web service invocation problem on host wsapsmdev01.idacorp.local and port 8001 protocol : http logical port name : LP_WS_SMDAGENT_MONITORING

What user is being used to get the agents? SLDAPIUSER?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi

I had similar problem in 7.1 sp4

i deleted users SM_INTERN_WS and SM_EXTERN_WS and deleted all logical ports using systempreparation step 1& 5 and reran both the steps and it worked...

immediately in the next step i could see diagnostic agent(SMD) connected.

I hope this will help.

check if the user password is set correct or id the user is locked.

Also check roles assigned to SLDDSUSER

check whether roles SAP_SLD_GUEST & SAP_J2EE_ADMIN are attached.

attach sap_all profile

when u connect the agent it takes time, about 30 minutes

thanks for your help but it's still the same result.

i found note 1663549 which ask to modify UME configuration to use ABAP productive client of solman.In my cas, i use client 001 as in a default installation.

Do you think it could be possible ?

If yes, do you know how i can export all user from client 001 to my production client ?

check user details in your defalut client

that should work

The SAP client for UME must be productive client and not 001.

Hi Daniel,

Check your SLD configuration first. Solution manager will only get agents if solution manager is successfully connected with the SLD.
