Oracle Upgrdae 10.2 to 11.2

Dear Sir,

We are using SAP ECC 6.0 with HP_Ux 11.23 with Oracle .We are planning to upgrdae our Orcale from 10.2 to 11.2 ,

Plesea guide me how we can upgrade oracle in three system landscape,

What's is pre-requets of Oracle upgrade.

After upgrade Oracle 10.2 to 11.2 what parameter should I change in Oracle as per SAP standerd.i.e . as per SAP Note.

Should I upgrade BRTOOLS / SAPOSCOL/KERNEL/R3trans/tp also.

Hi,

Please note that Oracle 11.2 is not supported on HPUX 11.23. You will need to upgrade your OS to HPUX 11.31.

Is it mendatery to upgrdae HP Ux 11.23 ia64 to HP Ux 11.31 ia64 for Oracle upgrade 10.2 to 11.2 ?

After upgrade Oracle 11.2 , what will be new facility/Feature will come in Oracle 11.2

After Upgrade Oracle 11.2 , what oracle/sap parameter should i change .So that our SAP give good performance.

Hi Pooja,

Please download the oracle 11.2.0.2 upgrade guide for Unix Platform from SAP Service Market place and read it carefully. The upgrade guide contains all the information.

I assume that you have Development, Quality and Production system.

First you sholud do upgrade in Dev->QA->PRD.
