Hi John,

there are 2 RFC destinations are required, one is to connect your satellite system to solman(BACK RFC), and other one send the dtat to SAP(SDCC_OSS),

you can see both RFC in your system itself, Tcode SDCCN -> GOTO-> SETTINGS-> TASK SPECIFIC -> RFC destination-> details.

Here you get both RFC names.

Thanks,

Hi Jansi,

Thanks for the reply.

But what if I want to call the report as an RFC call via WebDynPro for Java? And is it SDCC_OSS?

Thanks again,

John

Hi,

It depends on your requirement, you want the raw data for analyse yourself?

if you want the Early watch report itself, is already available in DSWP -> solution maonitoring -> Early watch report

You can get form there.

Thanks,

Jansi

Hi,

Because I wanted to be able to get raw data and format in a table/html.

I'll rephrase my question:

What standard RFC calls do I need to extract the monitoring report or raw data from SolMan so I can display it via WebDynpro for JAVA as an RFC call?

Thanks!

Hello,

There is not such animal as an RFC in a java environment.

If you are using Solution Manger diagnostics the EWA data is in the BI

There wilol be an RFC to the BI.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the info. Clarifies a lot.

With that, I would just like to ask what RFC call to the BI is?

Thanks again,

John

Hi John,

Solution Manager can use its own BI or a remote BI.

If it is local the RFC will be 'NONE'

The table is E2E_WA_CONFIG

Type = SAP_BID

LINE = 1

STRING = NONE

If there is an entry of the Type =SAP_BID_M it will overrule SAP_BID

The STRING= 'value' will be the RFC that is used.

Both SAP_BID abd SAP_BID_M are found in Table E2E_WA_CONFIG

Regards,

Paul
