Modify Standard Error in ME51N / ME52N

Dear All Gurus,

This is my reuirement. In ME51n when user selects RV Document (Outline Agreement Requisiton - EBAN-BSART = 'RV') .

In SAP metrial number is compulsory.

I need to change this option as non - compulsory filed (avoid error message) .

How do I do this ?

hi jam,

I suggest to you to post your question in Abap forum, because i'm quite sure you can manage that by a custo option (see with your MM functional consultant), otherwise if it's not possible then do it by using a user-exit or an enhancement in abap.
