No connect from local SAP-Router to sapserv2

Hi everybody,

I'm encountering a strange problem. I've set up the SAP router on two servers (both Win2K8 64-bit) the same way. On one system the connection works without problems, on the other system the router starts and local connections work well. But there is no chance to connect to sapserv2.

Here is the sniplet from the logfile:

Mon Nov 07 22:50:25 2011 CONNECT FROM C24/- host 192.168.5.72/61621 (srv-sap12.enmore.griesheim)

Mon Nov 07 22:50:25 2011 CONNECT TO S24/-1 host 194.39.131.34/sapdp99 (194.39.131.34) (p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE'AT'ENMORE.GRIESHEIM)

Mon Nov 07 22:50:25 2011 CONNECT ERR S24/-1 NIESNC_FAILURE

Mon Nov 07 22:50:25 2011 DISCONNECT C24/-1 host 192.168.5.72/61621 (srv-sap12.enmore.griesheim)

I'm wondering what the reason for the append "'AT'enmore.griesheim" in the distiguished name is (the @-Sign is substituted by 'AT'). This is our local domain, but it isn't entered in any config file.

Please help, I'm getting gray hair!

Check :

1) Distinguished name

2) Router certificate validity

3) User ID with which you are starting SAP Router

4) SAP Router start command

5) Relevant ports

6) Is any SNC connection open at the moment?

7) Registration details of the second SAP Router @ SMP

Hi,

Is the other router registered at SAP?

Make sure that it is. Also, check if the ports 3298 and 3299 are open.

You should also ensure that the certificate is valid and the routtab file is maintained correctly.

Hope this helps.

Hello

Check for what Varun has mentioned above. Still if you have the issue, raise a message to SAP asking to check for any network issue from their side. They will check and give you a very clear report where the problem is.

Thanks & regards
