Hi All,
We have created two no's of equipment masters(1001,1002) for two no's vernier calipers used for inspection. I've created an inspection plan and assigned all two no's of test equipment to the operation and allocated only euipment with no : 1001 to the master inspection characteristic.
During results recording, the system proposes the test equipment :1001' by default , However, my requirement is to do the inspection with test equipment no :1002. So is it possible to select the test equipement :'1002' instead of '1001' during results recording against particular characteristic.
Please suggest your valuable suggestions
Thanks!

Since equipment is assigned ti inspection plan (master data), even if you change, it will not get reflected to existing insp lot
So you can't change equipemnt from 1001 to 1002 during result recording, but you can use inspection description field to record note & here you can describe you used 1002 equipemnt for this test.

This is possible via field additional info. See OSS note 577918 for details. https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/577918

Is this with reference to calibration inspection (inspection type 14)?

If You create the test equipment as FHMI material type & while creating roating/inspection plan ,assign that equipment to a MIC/char,then system displays same while doing result recording.
It is only one equipemt or PRT that can be assigned to a MIC/char while creating it.
You can use any workaround like Info Field 1,2,3 etc for the same.
