Checking of process parameters during set up inspection

Hi All,

During set up inspection for the first part approval , we inspect product dimensions as well as process (machine) parameters.

Please suggest a method to inspect and record process parameters for machine used in production for respective operation during set up inspection along with inspection of Product Dimensions.

You can record all inspection activity during production through inprocess inspection (insp type 03).

Activate inspection type 03 in material master, create MIC for dimension & process, assign those MIC to recipe/ rouiting operation.

Now moment you release order you will get inspection lot of 03 insp type where you can record all inspection activity with ref to MIC of operation. Revert back if you hv any specific question.
