Display Characteristics in change mode

Hi all experts,

We have a scenario in which one characteristic should be updated from two other characteristics.

The value is updated correctly (using a dependency) but since it's updated automatically we would like the characteristic to be grey/in display even when we are in create(cv01n) or change(cv02n).

Is this possible and where do we configure this in that case?

HI Mikael,

select the option "Not ready for input" in "procedure for value assignment" under additional data tab for that Characteristic.

it will grey out and give you the value that gets from dependencies

Hi,

Try to use The authorization object is C_CABN_GRP with Auth. Group in Charactersitcs for required result.

Use Autho Group-say "03" for characteristics, then even if in CV01N user can't put value in field becuase of authorisation control.
