Regarding Scheduling Agreement validity

Former Member

Hi Experts,

I have a small doubt just want to clarify it.

If a scheduling agreement has a validity of 1 month and a schedule line is also confirmed within the validity period of the SA. But unfortunately the delivery is not created for the schedule line within the validity period of SA.

When I try to create a delivery after the validity period of a scheduling agreement system is allowing me to create a delivery is this the standard behavior of the system? End user says this is not the standard behavior of the system.

Please suggest.

Jaine,

You might want to ask the end user to show you the documentaion that supports his assertion. Review the below from SAP F1 help.

The beginning date and the end date together define the validity period.

The validity period affects processing. If, for example, you are

processing a scheduling agreement, you can only deliver a schedule line

if its requested delivery date falls within the validity period of the

outline agreement.

According to this, if the Requested Delivery date falls within the validity period, it should be deliverable without any restriction imposed by the Validity period.
