Hi Guys,
We have our portal on HA in Linux environment.
Now What ip should we give to enduser to access portal.
We cant give SCS ip as the port is on JC* which is not moving in case of failover.
We are thinking of using Webdispatcher so that in case one node goes down dispatcher will redirect the request.
Please guide how can we achieve this.
1)Which Ip should be give to end user so that end-user doesnt come to know that failover has happened.
2)How can we use webdispatcher in this case.?
Regards
Abhishek
Hi,
You can install the Web Dispatcher as a cluster ressource. therefore it will not be a SPOF and your users will be able to use the portal after a cluster failover.

Hi Abhishek,
You need to give the floating IP (Package) to the end users. Using this floating IP, you can install Wed Dispatcher and use the redirection for Portal URL.
