Issue with the query data sources

Working on SPM Ver 2.1 SP 6 Patch 1 . Issue with the query data sources -

Administration > Anaylsis Administration > Application Properties > Data Sources. Here I have the standard 0ASA_MP01, 0ASA_MP04 and 0ASA_C13 queries set up as data sources.

Now in Settings > User Preferences > Data Sources > In the dropdown I only see the query that is based on a cube. Not those that are based on the multiproviders.

Checked that the Query runs in RSRT and the 0ASA_MP* Multiproviders are active.

Also checked OSS notes, SCN and SAP help, but no clue or pointer to this situation. Are we missing something in the config?

Would appreciate any help to resolve this and get those queries appearing in the data source for User Preferences.

Hi Pravin,

Please check if you can generate these queries successfully in backend RSRT. Also try refresh all datasources and see if that helps.

HI Divyesh,

Already checked the reports in RSRT...runs fine, and refreshed the datasources too. This is only an issue with the MultiProvider based queries, queries created on cubes correctly appear when set up as datasources in SPM UI.

Any other pointers would be helpful!

after refreshing your data sources,, see the logs if that shows any messages, usually when you refresh data sources it shoudl appear if you dont get any error logs?

we had this problem several times, data refresh option helped us!
