Send a sales document by mail at external address - where is the error ?

Hello

I create a new output type to send the sales order document by mail.

If I choose 'simple mail ' (internal address) as medium, the document is correctly processed and sent at sap workplace .

If I choose external send ' (external address) an error is showed = "Error in address output (address not found)."

but on the customer used the email address is present.

Where I have to check ?
