I am setting up ESO sandbox system and I created a new context with Display name as E-Sourcing and External ID as E-Sourcing. I then created a new cluster which has External id, Display name, Host name as esourcing. The cluster was linked to cluster member esourcing. For some reason, the cluster esourcing is still inactive. Can anyone help me?

Jay
Hi Jay,
Which version of Sourcing you are trying to implement?sourcing 5.1 or Sourcing 7.0.
"The cluster will remain inactive until it is associated with the new context and a directory
configuration for this cluster is created."
You need to create the Directory configuration and map the new cluster created.
Hope this information helps.

Priya

Hi
Few points for you to ponder on
1. Host name refers to host name/ IP address of box on which e sourcing is installed. Are you sure host name is esourcing?
2. In Cluster member are you sure service name is esourcing? You can cross check in setup-> system Information
Plz refer to installation guide in which it is clearly mentioned that cluster will remain inactive until it is associated with the new context and a directoryconfiguration for this cluster is created.
Hope this will help you resolve the issue.
