MDG Processing and Activity within a change request

We are receiving the error below when executing an activty within a change request in MDG.

I have looked through all of the configuration documentation with no luck. Any ideas?

I've never seen this error before. Maybe you should raise a OSS message for that?!

Its a java message and we are seeing happen within MDG when executing an activity and Business workplace. Is there some service MDG relies upon for the execution of activity?
