How to move the objects from a Released TR to a new Workbench TR in DEV

Hello Experts,

We have created a package with a transport request and all the objects are stored in the package with the same transport request. We have released the transport request in DEV system. While importing to QAS, we found few program errors. Now we have rectified the program errors. How can we copy the All the Objects and tasks stored in the already Released Transport Request in DEV to a New workbbench Request in DEV system. Please suggest the steps to be performed.

Hi ,

Create a new transport rquest using se01 as transport of copies.

Include all the objects from released request into the newly transport request.

Thanks for the support. But, We have already tried that step and we have created a new Workbench request " Transport of copies" and tried adding the objects from the released TR, but the tasks are not transferring to the new request. Please suggest.

Hi,

You need to follow the steps mentioned by me for each of the tasks available in the main transport request.

Hi,

You could also merge the released TR into a new TR and then add the corrections to the new TR so when transporting the new TR all object changes will go together.

For this use Tx SE03 under Request/Tasks - Merge Object Lists then write the released TR , the request will show up and you hit the Merge button, create a new Order and you are ready to include new objects to this new TR.

Goto>se03>merge obj list>give ur newly created req>select released button>press f8>now select the released req>click merge>a new request is created.
