I have the situation where I would like to do recordings from different locations in the business who do not want to publish on the website. Intstead they just want to be able to publish locally and let local users make use of the published documents.

So I am talking about maybe having recordings for a small group of users outside of the RWD website application, maybe publishing locally on a shared drive for example.

How can I do this, avoiding having to publish on the RWD website

Normally, for uPerform express, you can publish a website locally.

Then you can use IIS on local machine and setup local web server to give access to the local published document.

For uPerform server, do the following might help.

1. setup local IIS server or shared folder.

2. publish the document on local machine and then copy the published folder to the shared folder.

better not publishing the document to shared drive directly as it can cause problems.

3. setup website in the IIS server to link the published document.

If you don't need good user interface, can just copy the published folder to certain shared folder.

you can grant permission to certain group of people for this folder to control access.
