SAPSERVER.cmd Dialog box on/off

Hello Guru:

While I run SAPSERVER.CMD

In the dos-box, it just prompt to specify the drive letter of the local disk where you want to install the Oracle

software

but do not have <DBSID> prompt for me to specify.

and do dialog box about location and so on and just go on Installing.

pls advise , why this and what is the right step.

Hi,

DBSID will be determined at the SAP installation phase. Please read the installation document carefully.

Please follow the screens and provide required inputs. You will successfully complete database software installation.
