PI Installation: Exchagne Profile missing; PI homepage not comming up

Hi,

We have completed installing PI. Completed Post-Instllation activities, using PI Template Configurator.

when i opened XI home page ( http://sisxid00:50100/rep), I get the following error.

"An internal error occurred. Contact you XI administrator.

In details...

java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: null"

I tried navigating to Exchange profile (http://<hsotname>:<httpport>/exchangeProfile) and there are no values there. I had maintained Connection Parameters. <b>I used export option to look at the exchagne profile file. It was empty.</b>

I understand that <b>exchangeProfile gets automatically created with PI Installation. I noticed from installations steps</b> "Grant right to load exchagneProfile; Handle PI exchage Profile "

(Unlike with XI3.0 where exchagneProfile has to be uploaded manually from /usr/sap/XID/sys/global/exchange_Prolfe.xml)

Can you let me know why exchange profile parameters are not getting displayed?

How do i get PI Homepage..?

Regards,

Siva M

Hi Prasad,

I have installed PI SR2 on UNIX box. I have problem with post installation template.

Do i need to run PI template first or NWA template ?

I have installed solu manager box on one server with option as local sld and PI on another server with option as central sld. Is it right or i need top point central sld to solu mnager box and local sld to PI box.

help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi,

On Unix BOX, there is a BUG. (@ NW2004s / SP18)

The exchange Profile dosen't get automatically uploaded. We need to upload it manually.. and it worked...

<b>Solution in note 819893 also applies to XI 7.0 also</b>
